My name is Nomthandazo , known as Zoe (my nickname). I was born and raised in South Africa, Durban. My journey to becoming a hairstylist began 25 years back. I studied hairdressing at Durban technical college, now known as Coastal college of KZN. After I graduated, I worked as an apprentice for 3 years & worked my way up. I have been lucky enough to have travelled the world, met different people & learnt about different cultures while doing what I love: βhairβ. Between 2008 and 2013 I had the privilege of being trained & employed by one of the UK based companies which operate on board the cruise ships. This is when I decided to step out of my comfort zone, and that shaped me into who I am today.
My 1st onboard experience was on Carnival cruise line, followed by Disney, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises.
In 2014 I moved to Abu Dhabi, and my first experience there was not the best, and surely it was not for me. One thing Iβll tell you about me is that Iβm not afraid to take risks and not afraid to leave places Iβve outgrown.
Here I am, in Kuwait for the past 10 years and still loving it, learning and growing every day.
